Hi! We are Annelie Powell Casting. This is the page where we name drop some of the people and companies we’ve worked with. We’ve got over 16 years of experience so there’s a lot. Whilst this could seem like a jack of all trades and master of none what unites them all is the passion, detail and skill we bring to find you an incredible cast no matter the genre.  We think we’re excellent at that.

Annelie started in casting in 2006, helping out a director on a play, and completely fell in love with the creative artistry it afforded her. She has worked in house at institutions such as the BBC and the Royal Shakespare Company. There was also a stint on The Bill as an assistant before it got cancelled, which we’re sure wasnt anything to do with her work. We’ve worked with Netflix, Viacom, Apple, Nickelodeon, and Channel 4, on a myriad of T.V. projects from multi generational family comedies to hard hitting police drama’s. We’ve just completed casting on a TV Drama called Testament and  this spring Autumn 3 Hallmark Movie’s will air that we cast  – perfect for those of you who love a  romcom, especially ones set on a cruise on the Danube.

Whilst Screen is a large focus of our work, we’ve been fortunate enough to do a ridiculous amount of theatre over the years. It’s our first love, and we’re really passionate about casting being a real art in the process of creating a show. There isn’t much of a show without a cast in some form. We’ve cast Coram Boy and The Promise for the Chichester Theatre’s 24 season, Kathy and Stella Solve a murder is currently running in the West End at the Ambassadors Theatre and Now that’s what I call a musical embarks on its UK wide tour in september.
